Shop Terms & Conditions (Professionals)

These terms govern the use of Ist'ile by beauty and grooming professionals ("you", "the shop").

1. Listing your business

• You confirm you are entitled to operate the business you list and that the information you publish (services, prices, photos, location, opening hours) is accurate and kept up to date.
• New listings are reviewed before publication. We may decline or unpublish listings that are inaccurate, unlawful or below the platform's quality standards.
• Ist'ile helps customers discover your shop and request appointments. The final service delivery, punctuality, in-shop experience, service quality and final pricing accuracy remain your responsibility as the listed shop.

2. Bookings

• Respond to pending booking requests promptly — ideally within 24 hours.
• A confirmed booking is a commitment to provide the service at the stated time and price. Use the calendar (blocked time, day off) to prevent double booking.
• Mark bookings completed or no-show accurately after the appointment; this drives your analytics and review eligibility.

3. Fees and subscriptions

The Starter plan is free during launch. Paid plans (Pro, Premium) unlock featured placement and advanced tools; pricing is shown on the Pricing page and billed outside the mobile app stores. Ist'ile currently takes no commission on bookings; payment for services happens directly between you and the customer.

4. Customer data

You receive customer data (name, booking details, messages) solely to deliver the booked service. You must not use it for unsolicited marketing or share it with third parties, and you must handle it in accordance with the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017.

5. Content

You warrant that photos and text you upload are yours (or licensed to you) and do not infringe anyone's rights. You grant Ist'ile a non-exclusive licence to display them for platform purposes.

6. Reviews

Customers may review completed bookings. You may reply publicly and professionally. Soliciting fake reviews — positive or negative — is prohibited.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend a listing for material breach (fraud, repeated no-show handling failures, unlawful conduct), with notice where practicable. You may close your account at any time; outstanding confirmed bookings should be honoured or cancelled with notice to customers first.

8. Liability

You provide services as an independent business. Ist'ile is not your employer, agent or partner and bears no responsibility for the services you deliver. You indemnify us against claims arising from your services or your breach of these terms, to the extent permitted by Mauritian law.

9. Law

Governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius; the courts of Mauritius have jurisdiction.
